工作职责Job Description:
Job Positioning
As the Engineering Manager, you will serve as a critical bridge connecting the R&D Center and Mass Production. Your core mission is to lead the full-process introduction of new products from EVT/DVT/PVT to MP (Mass Production), resolve major process bottlenecks on the production line, improve First Pass Yield (FPY), reduce manufacturing costs, and ensure delivery commitments to key North American customers (NVIDIA/Apple/Google, etc.).
1. Full-process New Product Introduction (NPI) Management
Lead phase reviews: Oversee the engineering transformation of new products from Design Verification Test (DVT) to Production Verification Test (PVT), organize Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) reviews, and proactively identify and mitigate mass production risks.
Pilot production coordination: Plan and execute small-batch pilot production, coordinate cross-functional teams including R&D, supply chain, equipment, and quality, and ensure all pilot production issues (Issue List) are closed and resolved prior to mass production.
SOP standardization: Establish and optimize Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), process Flow Charts and Control Plans to ensure standardized production line operations
2. Mass Production Support & Yield Improvement
Yield improvement initiatives: Monitor and analyze production line FPY and defect rate data, lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for top 3 critical defects and formulate and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Efficiency optimization: Optimize production line balance rate through Industrial Engineering (IE) methodologies, improve Units Per Hour (UPH) and reduce labor costs.
Rapid response: Establish a Quick Response Quality Control (QRQC) mechanism for production line abnormalities to minimize line downtime and ensure on-time delivery of customer orders.
3. Automation & Equipment Management
New equipment introduction: Evaluate and introduce high-precision automated equipment (e.g., high-speed coupling machines, precision dispensers, AOI inspection equipment, laser welding machines, etc.), and be responsible for equipment acceptance, commissioning and capacity ramp-up.
Equipment efficiency management: Monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), drive the implementation of Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans, and reduce equipment failure downtime.
Jig/fixture management: Lead the design optimization and lifecycle management of production jigs and fixtures to ensure tooling precision meets the requirements of micron/nano-level products.
4. Team Leadership & Customer Interface
Team building: Manage an engineering team (typically 20-50 members) with functions including PE, ME, TE, EE and IE; be responsible for talent recruitment, training, performance appraisal and talent echelon construction.
Customer audit response: Act as the primary interface to host and respond to on-site audits, process capability assessments and quarterly business reviews conducted by key North American customers (NVIDIA/Apple, etc.), demonstrating professional engineering management capabilities.
Change management: Strictly control the execution of Engineering Change Notices (ECN)/Engineering Change Orders (ECO), ensure materials, work-in-progress and finished products are under control during the change process, and avoid material mixing or quality incidents.
